Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for around six years and have enjoyed helping a variety of students reach their goals, from passing their GCSEs to achieving top grades at A-level. Whatever your goal, I guarantee to provide the knowledge and confidence you need to excel.

After completing my own UCAT exam and gaining acceptance to Oxford, I began assisting other students with the often overwhelming university admissions process. Many of my UCAT students initially felt out of their depth and struggled to complete practice tests.

Tutoring Approach

Having come from a state school with limited support, I understand how challenging exams and university applications can be. That's why it's important to me to make my tutoring comfortable, relaxed, yet effective, so my students can succeed academically while enjoying the journey as much as possible.

I am fortunate to say that I love my subjects and aim to increase my students' understanding and confidence so they can enjoy them too. I know students' time is precious, so I focus on condensing each topic into exactly what you need to know for the exam, ensuring your time is used as efficiently as possible. As exams approach, I can also help with exam technique, teaching tips and tricks to save time and hit the mark scheme to gain every last mark.

I recognise that not everyone learns in the same way. While I have a tried-and-tested tutoring technique that has worked well for past students, I am always open to new ideas and welcome students' input to tailor our sessions.
