Personally Interviewed
Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.
Tutoring Experience
I have over 300 hours experience tutoring students for A-level and GCSE Chemistry, Medicine Interviews, and the UCAT exam. Several of my students have received offers following their interview coaching.
Tutoring Approach
Chemistry (A-level/GCSE): I use a mix of teaching styles and adapt it based on each student as each student learns best in different ways. Students have an active role in deciding what we cover, so we can focus on what they need the most help with. However, most sessions will include revision content in an interactive format, then consolidating learning and identifying areas of weakness with past paper questions.
UCAT: Students will be taught techniques and the required knowledge to help boost their UCAT score. We will also focus on timing techniques, as tis plays a large part in UCAT success. Techniques and learning will be consolidated and practiced via working through questions together.
Medicine Interview: Interview coaching usually follows two stages: knowledge and practice. Students will be taught necessary topics for success in interviews such as ethics, NHS hot topics, and medical school course structure. Students will then put this into practice with mock stations, with feedback on answers and communication skills. Before the interview, a full mock interview with feedback will be offered, helping to boost confidence.
