Tutoring Experience

For the past three years, I've dedicated myself to tutoring English, especially at the challenging AP levels. My extensive experience covers various educational backgrounds, allowing me to adapt to diverse learning needs. My goal extends beyond merely teaching – I aspire to foster a genuine love for language and literature in my students, tailoring my methods to suit each individual's unique needs and academic objectives.

Going beyond traditional tutoring, I provide comprehensive support for students navigating the complexities of the US admissions process. This encompasses assisting with crafting compelling personal statements and offering guidance on standardized tests. In essence, my tutoring philosophy is not solely about conveying subject-specific knowledge; it's focused on nurturing critical thinking, effective communication, and a lifelong passion for learning. Tutoring Approach

In my way of tutoring, I believe in teamwork, making learning something we do together. I really want to make sure that what I teach is easy for students to understand. I put a big focus on creating a friendly and welcoming place where everyone, including students, feels heard and important. It's not just about giving out information. I like to talk with students, asking them to share what they think and feel.

When we chat like this, it makes learning more interesting and enjoyable. It helps students feel sure of themselves and powerful. When I listen to and use their ideas, it's like we're building a learning team. I want our learning teamwork to be a two-way street, where we all grow in understanding, and everyone gets to be part of the exciting journey of learning.
