Tutoring Experience

I've been offering tailored maths tuition since 2015, concentrating on GCSE and A Level curriculum. Alongside this, I've guided students preparing for Oxbridge entrance exams, ensuring their readiness for rigorous academic challenges.

My commitment to mathematical outreach is evidenced by my role as a senior student at a prestigious UK Mathematics Trust Summer School, where I've contributed to fostering a passion for maths among students. Furthermore, I've had the privilege of delivering annual lectures to 6th form students, sharing my enthusiasm for the subject and inspiring future mathematicians.

My own achievements in Maths Olympiads, including earning a gold medal in BMO1 and representing the UK in the Romanian Masters of Mathematics team, attest to my expertise in the field. With this background, I am well-equipped to provide coaching for Maths Olympiads, and I am enthusiastic about supporting individuals who share my passion for mathematical excellence.

Tutoring Approach

Typically, I begin one-to-one teaching by reviewing relevant course material, followed by solving problems with the student until they can independently tackle similar tasks consistently. However, I strongly believe in tailoring the teaching style to suit the individual strengths of each student, drawing from my extensive experience tutoring students of varying abilities.

Having recently excelled in A level maths, further maths, and STEP, and subsequently graduating from Cambridge's leading mathematical college, I possess a comprehensive understanding of the current prerequisites for admission to Cambridge or Oxford for mathematics. With my background in one-on-one tutoring and public speaking on mathematical topics, I effectively convey the techniques and skills required to excel in A level maths, further maths, IB higher level maths, STEP, MAT, TMUA, and Oxbridge maths interviews.
