As a dedicated educator with nearly two decades of experience, I've cultivated a passion for fostering academic excellence and student success.

My journey in education began with a strong foundation, earning a PGCE at University College of St Mark and St John, which equipped me with the necessary pedagogical skills to make a positive impact in the classroom. Over the years, I've continually invested in my professional development, participating in programmes such as Middle Leadership, NPQSL, Understanding Children, and Inclusive Education, to enhance my teaching practice and stay abreast of evolving educational trends.

Throughout my career, I've held various roles that have allowed me to contribute significantly to the educational landscape. Currently serving as an Assistant Headteacher at Poole High School, I oversee multiple departments and spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning outcomes. In this capacity, I've developed and implemented comprehensive professional development programmes, empowering educators to excel in their roles and providing them with the tools to support student growth effectively.

In addition to my role in school leadership, I also serve as the Director of Education, where I manage tutoring services catering to a diverse student population. This role enables me to leverage my extensive experience and expertise to support students outside the traditional classroom setting, ensuring they receive tailored guidance and support to achieve their academic goals.

My previous roles as Subject Leader, Subject Coordinator, Head of English, English Teacher, and Global Citizenship Coordinator have provided me with a well-rounded understanding of the education system and equipped me with the skills necessary to navigate its complexities effectively. With a deep-rooted commitment to student success and a wealth of experience to draw upon, I am dedicated to empowering learners and shaping the future of education.
