With five years of tutoring experience, I have worked with a diverse range of students across the globe. While I’ve taught in international schools, my primary focus has been one-on-one tutoring, where I personalize learning experiences to meet each student's unique needs. I have supported learners of all ages, from early learners preparing for school entry to university students seeking help with degree-level coursework. My expertise lies in English and SATs however I also specialize in essay writing and extended projects.

I have successfully guided students through various exams and academic milestones, including SATs, A Levels, GCSEs and university entrance exams. My adaptive teaching approach ensures that no two students are treated the same, allowing me to tailor my methods to help each student achieve their specific goals, whether it's improving exam performance or mastering complex subjects. It’s been a privilege to work with students from different educational systems, and I am committed to helping them reach their full potential through thoughtful and results-driven support.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is highly personalized, beginning with an in-depth consultation to understand each student’s preparation, background, and abilities. I gather as much information as possible about their current level, including the reading they’ve done and any previous work, in order to form a clear picture of their strengths and areas for improvement. For exams like the SAT, I explain the six or seven main types of questions they’ll encounter, focusing on identifying which types they are already confident with and which ones require more attention.

I believe in a structured approach to tracking progress, using mock exams to gauge improvement and pinpoint any remaining weaknesses. After each session, I write detailed reports on the material covered, noting the student’s progress and areas that need continued focus. This allows me to adapt my teaching style and lesson plans to ensure the student is always moving toward their goals. My goal is not only to improve performance but to build confidence and develop the skills needed for long-term academic success.
