Tutoring Experience

I've accrued over 500 hours of tutoring in the past 4 years, offering personalized assistance to both IB and IGCSE students. My teaching style emphasizes understanding core principles, developing strong problem-solving skills, and making connections between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications. Over the years, I've guided students through comprehensive exam preparations, coursework, and improved their approach to essay writing.

My experience spans from one-on-one private tutoring to facilitating small group sessions, and I take pride in my ability to tailor my teaching approach to accommodate individual learning styles and needs. In addition, I've coordinated several Physics workshops and science fairs in the UAE, fostering a sense of curiosity and engagement among my students.

Tutoring Approach

Physics: I begin by identifying the areas that a student is struggling with and assessing their level of understanding. This helps me develop a targeted plan of study. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into digestible pieces, using real-life examples whenever possible. For exam preparations, I incorporate past paper questions to familiarize students with the examination format and train them to think critically under time constraints. When working on extended essays or internal assessments, I provide constructive feedback, suggest areas of improvement, and guide students in effectively presenting their arguments.

Mathematics: I adopt a similar approach, working with students to understand their strengths and weaknesses. I emphasize building strong foundational knowledge and using logical reasoning to solve problems. Regular assessments and feedback form an integral part of my strategy, ensuring constant progress and improvement.
