Hi! I'm Rose, a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor. I completed my Masters Degree in Chemistry and and have since spent the last 17 years teaching the subject I love the most, Chemistry. I am a fully qualified lecturer and teacher in Chemistry for AP and IB, as well as having experience with A-Level and IGCSE as well. I love to share my passion for Chemistry with all of my students!

I have tutored over 1000 students online (students mainly from US and UK, a few from other countries like Italy, Germany, Singapore, Japan, UAE, India) and completed over 20,000 successful tutoring hours(and still counting) in a span of 16 years!

Patience is my strong point. I personalize the curriculum to cater to each student's needs.

My long years of experience has taught me first hand that each child is unique, and so the tutoring needs to be personalized bearing in mind their strengths and weaknesses, interests and pace. I am a hard working and dedicated tutor and I can simplify any concept in Chemistry that may be difficult for you to grasp.

Most students are visual learners. I use molecular models that I have with me via webcam to explain may Chemical concepts like molecular reactions, balancing, molecular shapes, mechanisms of reaction, etc. I also share animations wherever appropriate by screen sharing, which facilitates quicker and better understanding and retention of concepts.

I have excellent knowledge on the subject that I tutor (I was the top of my class in High School, and always among the first three in University). I make sure the lessons are interactive and not one-way. I ask related questions and quiz my students frequently during the tutoring sessions. That way I know if they are following me or if any topic needs revisiting. I encourage them to ask questions.
