Tutoring Experience

I have over five years of teaching experience specializing in IB Maths HL/SL, IB Chemistry HL/SL, AP Calculus, AP Precalculus, and GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level/AP Chemistry, having worked in both international schools and online tutoring platforms. I’ve taught a diverse range of students, helping them achieve excellent academic results. My online tutoring experience includes working with students from Asia, where I’ve tailored lessons to meet their academic goals and prepare them for acceptance into prestigious universities. Tutoring Approach

When I begin working with a student, my first step is to identify their specific needs—whether they want to catch up on content, deepen their understanding, or improve their test-taking skills. From there, I craft lessons tailored to these goals, ensuring they know exactly what they need to achieve. We develop a structured plan together, outlining the amount of material required for success. I incorporate tools like my iPad for notes and interactive whiteboards to make the learning process more dynamic and accessible, ensuring each lesson is engaging and suited to the student’s style of learning.

In addition to customized lessons, I rely on past papers and practice tests to gauge student progress and adjust our approach as needed. Regular assessments help track improvement and build confidence as we work through the material. Equally important is creating a positive, comfortable environment where students feel at ease to ask questions and engage fully in the learning process. By fostering this supportive relationship, I ensure students not only meet their academic goals but also gain a stronger, long-lasting understanding of the subject.
