I recently earned a Master of Laws (BCL) from Oxford University, following my undergraduate Law degree from the same esteemed institution. Presently, I am pursuing the Bar Practice Course to qualify as a barrister. In addition to my academic and professional endeavours, I offer tutoring services for Law Admissions and the Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT). My teaching experience is marked by success, with numerous students securing offers from prestigious Law universities across the UK. I also provide comprehensive support in crafting compelling Personal Statements and conducting Mock Interview Practice to further enhance applicants' chances of admission.

Personally Interviewed
Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.
Tutoring Experience
I have worked with five students in the past three years in advance of their LNAT tests.
My students have always gained either an invitation to interview or a conditional university offer after taking their LNAT. I help students not only score above average on the multiple-choice section of the test, but also write clear and structured essays which are weighted very highly in the admissions process at Oxford University.
I have further been able to assist a number of students with their personal statements, which have also led to interview offers. In addition, my students have been very successful in converting their interviews to offers to study at Oxbridge.
Tutoring Approach
Law and LNAT Tuition Approach
Considering that the LNAT assesses a number of different skills, my teaching approach divides each session into two: the first half will focus on the critical reasoning required for the multiple-choice section, and the second half focuses on the essay.
For the critical reasoning, I go through a number of practice questions with the students and talk them through how to answer each one. I guide them on how to extract key information from the passage and use their analytical skills in order to determine the answers to the questions. For the essay, I give students an example title and help them understand how to structure their answer in a concise and clear way.
For Law admissions interviews, I adopt an approach which is very similar to the format that the interview will take. I present the students with a piece of legislation and ask them various questions about this. These might include summarising the law, considering how it might be applied in particular circumstances, and debating whether the legislation is actually effective.
After the interview practice, I give the student detailed feedback about their answers and advise them on how to improve in each instance. Each session will allow the student to consider different areas of law, as well as work on their general interview skills.
As an Oxford graduate myself, my students have the benefit of knowing exactly what the admissions tutors are looking for.
