Tutoring Experience

For six years, I've been assisting students in grasping intricate chemical theories and principles. I've conducted over 1000 hours of classes, covering IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry. Students I've tutored showed significant improvement in their understanding, with many achieving A's or A*'s.

My teaching approach, focusing on understanding over rote memorization, helps them retain and apply their knowledge, which often leads to excellent results. In addition to individual sessions, I've also led small group lessons, fostering a collaborative learning environment where students can learn from each other's perspectives.

For exam preparation, we'll work through past paper questions and I'll offer strategies to tackle different question types, equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to excel. I also give detailed feedback on their work, focusing on areas of improvement and commending their strengths.

Furthermore, I instil problem-solving skills and critical thinking, which are beneficial beyond the confines of Chemistry and academics.
