Hello! I'm Noor, a dedicated student pursuing a BSc in Politics and Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). My academic journey began at Sevenoaks School, where I completed both the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme and my IGCSE exams. With a deep passion for teaching, I specialize in tutoring Economics and Politics, aiming to inspire and support my students in their pursuit of academic excellence.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored several students in IB Economics and many students from the age of 7-17 in English. Further, I have helped with several successful Personal Statements for applications for Oxford University and other high-level universities.

I have tutored younger children for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams, with students going on to get places at North London Collegiate School, St Paul’s School, Uppingham, etc.

Tutoring Approach

I cater my teaching style based on the individual student as I do not believe there is a ‘one-size fits all’ regarding this.

The benefit of 1-1 tuition or smaller groups is that the teaching can be tailored in this way.

I also teach students how best to study and how to approach new topics so that they are able to learn to independently tackle challenging work.
