As a recent Oxford graduate with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE), I bring confidence, passion, and extensive tutoring experience to each session. Over the past six years, I have honed my skills in educating both small groups and individual learners across a range of subjects, including Mathematics, Economics, and Non-Verbal Reasoning, as well as providing specialized preparation for the 11+ exams and independent school entry tests. My expertise also extends to supporting students with their Oxbridge applications, including preparation for the TSA. My approach is customized to the unique learning style and goals of each student, aiming to foster a deep understanding of the material and confidence in their abilities.

Tutoring Experience

Since 2016, I have tutored individuals and small groups in all aspects of the 11+ and independent school entry including Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

My students have attended leading selective grammar and independent schools including King Edward VI Camp Hill and Caldicott. Since 2019, I have tutored GCSE Mathematics and A-Level Economics with my students achieving A* predicted grades and results.

Since 2021, I have supported students with University applications, with my students achieving interviews and offers from Oxford, LSE, Edinburgh and Warwick.

Tutoring Approach

I am flexible and responsive to student needs, whilst ensuring I offer enjoyable and academically effective lessons.

Typically, I find that once content is understood, a focus on application of this content to exam questions provides students with a framework for answering questions which will prove invaluable in exams.

For the TSA, I break the exam paper down into the different question types and identify individual strengths and weaknesses to tailor lessons accordingly with a clear progression plan.

For A-Level economics I focus on core content, before applying this to exam questions with a particular focus on scoring marks for evaluation which is necessary to achieve A* grades.
