Tutoring Experience

I have over five years of experience tutoring AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology at K-12 and university levels. As a trained peer mentor with Johns Hopkins, I worked as a Study Consultant (2021-2023), helping students develop study techniques, exam strategies, and academic organisation skills. In 2022, I was a teaching assistant for Differential Equations, leading weekly classes and grading exams for 300+ students. Currently, I tutor students from Ukraine, the UK, the EU, the Middle East, and Asia, offering intensive AP exam preparation, mentorship, project guidance, and college application support. My experience spans university-level STEM courses, IB, AP, IGCSE, GCSE, and A-Level curricula. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts, ensuring students develop a deep understanding and strong problem-solving skills.

Tutoring Approach

I start each session with a 10-15 minute introduction to identify the student’s challenges and build their confidence. My teaching is highly structured and exam-focused, incorporating past papers, Cognity, and Revision Village to reinforce key concepts. I provide personalised exercises, custom exam papers, and detailed feedback to track progress and refine exam techniques.

For AP students, I emphasise conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills, helping them tackle complex calculations in AP Calculus, grasp core principles in AP Physics, master experimental concepts in AP Chemistry, and develop strong analytical skills in AP Biology. My goal is to maximise student potential by fostering critical thinking, structured learning, and independent problem-solving.
