Tutoring Experience

I have approximately 5 years of tutoring experience, during which I've dedicated my time to supporting a diverse group of students. My tutoring journey commenced with close collaboration alongside a teacher in 4-5th grade classes. In this role, I organized lesson plans, helped distribute tasks during activities, and provided assistance to students who faced challenges in the classroom.

Subsequently, I transitioned to one-on-one tutoring sessions with younger students who needed extra support in their studies. I assisted them with class materials, homework assignments, and reviewed past tests to reinforce their understanding of the subjects.

In addition to my work with younger students, I had the privilege of tutoring individuals studying IB and IGSCE Biology who were struggling to grasp the subject matter. My approach was to provide these students with the most effective resources and strategies to enhance their learning efficiency and overall success.

Today, I offer my tutoring services across various platforms, drawing from both my academic background and extensive tutoring experience to help students achieve their educational goals.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach begins with a well-structured lesson plan, focusing on the specific areas where the individual requires assistance. Once these challenges have been identified, I proceed with a step-by-step explanation of the subject, chapter, or concept, utilizing effective resources like revision guides, smart learning tools, the syllabus, and flashcards.

I emphasize the importance of practicing exam-style questions to not only solidify subject knowledge but also grasp what the examiner expects for achieving the highest marks. Consequently, I collaborate with the student on reviewing past exams and questions they may not have addressed optimally. Additionally, I provide new questions that align with the lesson's format and content, enabling them to apply the knowledge acquired during our session.
