Tutoring Experience

My experiences include conducting weekly classroom teaching sessions alongside older professionals where I assisted teachers in tutoring Chemistry for Year 12 students for a year. I am keen on developing the learning ability of younger children. I instructed 11+ students for 3 years using online resources and spent my time teaching at St Mary primary school.

Tutoring Approach

My role as a tutor includes analysing students' performance to evaluate and customise tutoring approaches to meet the needs of diverse population whilst compiling and documenting various reports to track weekly performances.

During each session, it is important that both my tutee and I spend a few minutes reflecting after each lesson to ensure there is always progression and goal setting for the next lesson.

My teaching style involves asking a lot of questions and having my students talk as much as possible. Confidence builds through communication. I will only guide my students to the right answers with as little interference as possible.
