Tutoring Experience

I graduated from St Anne’s College, Oxford, with a first class degree in History in 2017. I then went on to complete a funded Master’s degree in Medieval History in the following year, winning the History Faculty prize for best dissertation in cohort. I also recently compeleted my DPhil History at Oxford.

I have two years' experience as a stipendiary lecturer and tutor in History at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. I provided over 200 hours of teaching for undergraduate historians in tutorials, seminars and lectures, both online and in person. I have helped many students through online tutoring platforms to achieve their highest potential.

For the previous 4 years I have also been a postgraduate mentor, providing tailored skills tuition to undergraduate historians at Exeter College, Oxford. I have also provided admissions advice to students at Dauntsey's School, Wiltshire.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to enable my students to reach their potential at the pace right for them, through analytical discussion in tutorials, comprehensive feedback and constructive support with all aspects of learning.

I encourage every student to build on their strengths and address their weaknesses, allowing them to gain confidence and thrive.

I help students address gaps in their knowledge, hone exam and writing technique and nourish enthusiasm for their subject.
