Tutoring Experience

Since 2020, I have provided personalised one-on-one Biology tutoring, supporting IB, A-Level, and GCSE/IGCSE students in mastering key topics, refining exam techniques, and strengthening problem-solving skills. My approach focuses on simplifying complex biological processes, ensuring students build a strong conceptual foundation. I tailor each session to students’ learning styles, including those with specific learning difficulties, helping them gain confidence and excel academically.

Tutoring Approach

I begin by understanding each student’s learning goals and reviewing past work, including assignments and exams, to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement. Students send me their work in advance, allowing me to prepare targeted lessons. I reinforce key biological concepts through clear explanations, screen sharing, and interactive discussions. I use a structured approach with mini quizzes to test comprehension and track progress. Additionally, I provide a bank of past papers and subject-specific notes to strengthen exam skills. My goal is to make Biology engaging, accessible, and manageable, ensuring students gain both knowledge and confidence in the subject.
