Tutoring Experience

Since 2020, I have provided personalised one-on-one tutoring in Psychology for IB, A-Level, GCSE, and IGCSE students. My background in psychology allows me to tailor lessons to different learning styles, ensuring students grasp challenging theories, research methods, and key exam skills. I focus on structuring responses effectively, applying psychological studies in essays, and developing critical evaluation skills to meet exam board expectations. I also have experience supporting students with specific learning difficulties, helping them overcome challenges through personalised strategies.

Tutoring Approach

Beginning with understanding each student's learning goals and reviewing the work they have already done. I ask students to send me their assignments and past exams in advance, allowing me to identify areas where they struggled and pinpoint what went wrong. From there, I tailor lessons to reinforce key concepts, using screen sharing to provide clear explanations and interactive discussions. To ensure understanding, I create mini quizzes to test comprehension and track progress. I also have a bank of past papers and notes, which I integrate into lessons to help students apply their knowledge effectively and develop strong exam techniques. My goal is to provide structured, targeted support that builds confidence and deepens subject mastery.
