Personally Interviewed
Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.
Tutoring Experience
I have 3 years of experience guiding students in writing Personal Statements and navigating Oxbridge interviews in a variety of subjects, including Law, PPE, Economics, and History. This also includes tutoring for the LNAT. I have 2 years of experience tutoring students on IB subjects, including EE, TOK, English, History, and Economics. I also have experience editing university-level dissertations, and have helped students achieve a 1st-Class Score at Oxford.
Tutoring Approach
My tutoring approach for all subjects will be focused on achieving efficient and effective exam technique first and foremost, as it is generally where points are lost.
For example, in essay-based subjects like English or History, I will first teach proper essay technique. I will then focus on helping students understand complex content.
To do this, I adopt an Oxford tutorial-style Socratic method, helping navigate students to solve their issues rather than outright telling them the answers.
This will prepare students for university-style teaching as well as succeeding in future university applications and interviews.
