Tutoring Experience

With a 9-year experience in cross-cultural teaching, I've guided students in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Beijing. I started as a private tutor in Hong Kong, moved to a tuition centre in Singapore, and recently have been tutoring online and in-person in Beijing. My focus has always been making biological concepts relatable and relevant, empowering students to excel academically.

Understanding a student's unique learning style is crucial for me to deliver tailored lessons that maximize comprehension and retention. To facilitate this, I frequently use multimedia resources, quizzes and interactive online tools to create an engaging learning atmosphere. The IB syllabus is vast and challenging, but with strategic lesson planning, focused revision sessions and comprehensive feedback, I guide my students towards achieving their academic potential.
