Tutoring Experience

Throughout my tutoring career, I've had the privilege of guiding a diverse group of young learners in subjects ranging from ballet to mathematics and science. At UC Berkeley, I contributed to the Public Service Center as a ballet instructor for K-5 students, nurturing their artistic expressions and physical coordination. I've also worked with students from K-8 at Carolyn Clark Elementary and Quimby Oak Middle School, helping them excel in mathematics and English. My teaching approach is highly adaptive, incorporating regular reviews, practical applications, and personalized assignments to cater to each student's unique needs and learning styles. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment that not only boosts academic performance but also builds confidence and lifelong learning skills.

From there, I design personalized lessons that incorporate theory review, practical applications, and consistent check-ups to ensure progress. I emphasize understanding over rote memorization, encouraging students to explore real-world applications of their studies. My lessons are adaptable, evolving with the student’s growth and changing academic goals. Whether preparing for SATs, improving essay writing, or mastering AP courses, my aim is to make learning both enjoyable and effective, equipping my students with the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.
