Tutoring Experience

Since obtaining my Master's degree, I've devoted five years to tutoring students in IB and IGCSE Maths and Physics. My students vary from those needing help with grades, to those striving to excel in exams. It's been a joy to see them improve not only academically but also in their confidence with the subjects. The transformation in students, as they begin to enjoy what they once found difficult, is the most rewarding part of my job.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in a tailored approach to teaching - because every student is different, so too must be the teaching methods. My approach often involves breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible parts, making sure the student understands the fundamentals before moving on to more complex problems. Moreover, I emphasize a lot on the practical applications of the subjects, which I find helps the students understand why they are studying a certain topic, and increases their interest in the subject matter. Regular practice and reviews are also a key part of my tutoring strategy, as they reinforce the learning and help the student gain confidence in their abilities.
