Tutoring Experience

Having tutored for over five years, I've enriched the academic journey of countless IB and IGCSE students. My experience spans both classroom teaching and one-on-one sessions. My forte lies in recognizing patterns of misunderstanding and reorienting students towards clarity. Many of my students have not only significantly improved in their grades but have gone on to pursue further studies in mathematical fields. My commitment has always been to not just teach Maths, but to instil a genuine passion for the subject.

Tutoring Approach

Whenever I meet a new student, I love starting with their 'why'. Why do they want to learn? What are their goals? This forms the foundation of our journey together. I ensure our sessions are interactive, peppering them with real-world applications of mathematical concepts, gleaned from my research days. I'm a firm believer in the 'teach-back' method; if you can teach it, you've learned it. We use collaborative tools, like digital whiteboards, to facilitate engaging sessions. With every topic, I provide additional resources that offer deeper insights. Most importantly, I always remind my students that every mistake is a stepping stone to understanding.
