Tutoring Experience

In addition to private tutoring over the years, I worked with an online tutoring company for six months last year. I worked with students on the SAT and college counseling and essay writing. Last college season, my three college admissions and essay writing tutees were offered admission to top-choice schools, including Emory, NYU, and California state colleges.

Tutoring Approach

For essay writing, we will first hold brainstorming sessions and review grammar, essay structure, and sample essays together. Once we establish a topic, we will spend our sessions drafting and editing versions of the essay. For test prep, the tutee will take a practice test, and we will review the answers in our session.
