Tutoring Experience

I hold a Ph.D. in Behavioral Sciences, an MSc in Psychology of Economic Life, an MA in English Language and Literature, and dual BAs in English and Psychology, alongside another BA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University. With a comprehensive academic background, I offer tutoring services covering admissions, US admissions, English literature and language, psychology, and personal statements.

My tutoring journey spans over five years, complemented by significant teaching experience. At the Behaviouralist Company, I started as a Behavioural Scientist, conducting research and communication tasks, later advancing to Senior Behaviour Scientist. At Waynflete School, I assumed the role of English Department Chair, teaching English to students from grades 6 to 12. Simultaneously, I devoted five years to private tutoring.

Expanding my teaching portfolio, I taught English at Choate Rosemary Hall and served as an Aftercare Instructor at Greens Farms Academy. Additionally, I contributed to student learning as a Teacher Assistant at Hamilton Academy, nurturing students' educational journeys in various capacities. My diverse roles in education and behavioral science have enriched my teaching approach, enabling me to provide comprehensive support to students across various subjects and educational levels.

Drawing on my extensive academic background and teaching experience, I tailor sessions to meet each student's unique needs and aspirations.

For admissions tutoring, I provide comprehensive assistance, guiding students through the application process with detailed feedback on personal statements and essays. Through personalized coaching, I help students highlight their strengths and articulate their motivations effectively, ensuring their applications stand out to admissions committees.

In interview preparation, I employ a structured approach to build confidence and readiness. I conduct mock interviews, offering constructive feedback and targeted strategies to enhance communication skills and address potential interview questions. By simulating interview scenarios, I help students develop poise and clarity in expressing their ideas, ultimately increasing their chances of success.

Throughout our tutoring sessions, I prioritize clear communication and active engagement, creating an environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and explore concepts deeply.
