I am a full-time teacher currently teaching IGCSE and A-level Mathematics. I graduated with a master’s degree in Digital Signal Processing, a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and in Mathematics. I am passionate about teaching, always wanting to learn and to take on new challenges, helping students to achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Mathematics for over 5 years, and over that time period most of my students have passed their exams with at least grade C. I have also tutored online for the past 4 years, specializing in preparing students towards Edexcel and CIE IGCSE and A-level exams. I am also an examiner for Edexcel, giving me an insight on what students should do to maximize their exam grades.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons consist of doing a starter based on a previous topic or background knowledge needed for the new topic. Then I teach the concept, do a couple of examples and I let pupils try exercises on their own, with scaffolding if needed. When preparing tutees for an exam I explain how to approach questions and structure their working to maximise their results.
