Tutoring Experience

With seven years of tutoring experience across Europe and the Middle East, my teaching journey has been rich and diverse. Having taught students from different backgrounds and abilities, I have adapted and learned to cater to each student's unique needs. Most of my students are from the IB curriculum, but I also have significant experience with A-Level language students. Many have gone on to attend top universities and pursue careers in international relations, translation, and teaching. I take pride in being more than a tutor to them – I'm a mentor who guides them on their academic journey.

Tutoring Approach

Every student is unique, and I believe in celebrating this uniqueness in my teaching approach. I first establish a friendly connection, understanding the student's goals, strengths, and weaknesses. I then create a personalized learning plan that fits their learning style and pace. In my class, mistakes are welcomed as opportunities for growth. To make language learning engaging, I incorporate interactive activities, including role-play, language games, and real-life scenarios. To provide cultural context, I introduce them to films, music, and literature in the target language. Furthermore, I make sure to keep track of their curriculum and prepare them meticulously for their exams. Yet, my ultimate aim is not merely academic success – I aim to instill in my students a lifelong love for languages.
