Tutoring Experience

I have previously tutored students in Spanish, math and biology at a high school level (including AP courses). The students who I helped consistently saw improvements in their test scores and ultimately their course grades.

I have also worked with students on college admissions. This includes standardized test preparation (primarily ACT, though I'm also experienced with the SAT and SAT Math & Physics Subject Tests), college application strategy/goals/timeline, and choice of classes and extracurricular pursuits. Additionally, I've provided extensive support to several students as they've written essays for courses and for college applications--these students have found admissions success, with one student being admitted to Yale. In assisting with admissions essays, I am to help find a topic about which the applicant is truly passionate, so that they can write enthusiastically and authentically.
