Tutoring Experience

I have over four years of experience tutoring IB Chemistry and three years of experience teaching it in a top-performing IB school, where I have helped countless students secure 7s and significantly improve their grades. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts, using real-world examples, and tailoring lessons to each student's learning style. Tutoring Approach

I start by asking what they need help with, what they have already covered in school, and whether they have upcoming exams. I match my lessons to their school curriculum, ensuring consistency in learning. During sessions, I go through material in depth, identifying problem areas and providing clear explanations to help students grasp difficult concepts. I conduct regular assessments, including quizzes after every chapter, to track progress and reinforce learning. To keep students engaged, I require cameras to be on, ensuring active participation. My lessons rely on well-prepared PowerPoints based on textbooks, IB guides, and Cambridge resources, along with Paper 1-style questions to develop exam skills. My goal is to provide structured, effective lessons that build confidence and prepare students thoroughly for their IB Chemistry exams.
