Tutoring Experience

Since 2015, I have been teaching and tutoring mathematics, with significant experience in the IGCSE curriculum. I have worked with students aged 11 to 18 across the UK and South Korea, tailoring lessons to diverse educational needs and cultural backgrounds. My expertise includes preparing students for IGCSE exams, strengthening their mathematical foundations, and building their confidence in core and extended-level topics.

Additionally, I have worked extensively with IB students on Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Applications and Interpretation (AI). My tutoring has involved refining Internal Assessments and guiding students through complex concepts and exam strategies, but my primary focus remains the IGCSE syllabus.

My approach centres on identifying each student's strengths and weaknesses through their most recent IGCSE exam results. Lessons are then customised to address problem areas, such as algebra, geometry, or data handling, while also reinforcing exam techniques. I maintain an open dialogue with students, ensuring they understand every step of the learning process. Beyond lessons, I recommend additional resources tailored to IGCSE Mathematics to enhance independent learning and ensure success.
