Tutoring Experience

I've been tutoring IB Biology and Physics for over six years, supporting over a hundred students in their academic journey. I have experience with both one-to-one and group sessions, and have helped my students significantly improve their grades. Some of my students have achieved commendable success, earning full marks in their exams, while others have secured admission to prestigious universities. My goal has always been to ensure that my students become confident and competent in their subjects.

Tutoring Approach

In my teaching, I focus on understanding and not mere memorization. I believe that knowledge retention is highest when the student truly comprehends the subject matter. To achieve this, I break down difficult theories into simpler components, often using real-life examples or analogies. Problem-solving skills are at the core of my teaching method. I regularly present students with challenging questions, encouraging them to think critically and independently. I also create a supportive learning environment, where questions and discussion are always welcomed. As a tutor, my aim is not just to teach, but to instill a genuine love for the subjects in my students.
