Tutoring Experience

I am a passionate, quadrilingual educator with over six years of experience teaching IGCSE and IB subjects across three different school networks. Fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, and English, my multicultural background as a French-Italian who grew up in Spain with an English education allows me to connect with students from diverse perspectives. My academic journey includes completing IGCSE examinations and earning an IB Diploma, and I am now studying Politics and Humanities at Sciences Po Paris. Throughout my experience, I have developed tailored tutoring techniques that adapt to each student’s learning style and goals, ensuring that they feel empowered to succeed. I also offer guidance in TOK and the Extended Essay in English for IB Diploma students. I believe that a student’s passion for a subject can transform their academic performance, and my goal as a tutor is to foster that passion.

Tutoring Approach

I start by assessing their current level, discussing feedback from their teachers (if applicable), and ensuring they know how to meet every assessment criterion. Together, we set clear objectives and create a personalized plan to achieve them. I maintain a dedicated folder for each student to track progress, objectives, and completed work. Rather than relying on lectures, my sessions are highly interactive, focusing on a question-and-answer format to encourage critical thinking and active engagement. I provide students with access to my own study guides—resources I’ve developed and sold through Classtify—tailored specifically for IGCSE and IB subjects. These materials, combined with past papers from platforms like ibdocs, help students practice effectively and gain confidence in exam techniques. My goal is to ensure every session is productive, dynamic, and aligned with the student’s goals, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
