Tutoring Experience

I have a diverse teaching background, with experience as both a private tutor for one-to-one sessions and small groups, and as a classroom teacher at an international school in Greece, where I deliver IB Psychology lessons and support Special Educational Needs (SEN) students. My role as an IB examiner, marking Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3, and Extended Essays, as well as serving as an Internal Assessment moderator, has given me valuable insight into the assessment process. This combination of teaching and examining experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the IB framework, enabling me to provide targeted, exam-focused support to help students achieve their academic goals.

Revision is a recurring element, with regular review sessions to reinforce learning.

I place a strong emphasis on active learning, constantly asking students to justify their answers and engage critically with the material. Homework assignments are an integral part of my approach, allowing students to consolidate their understanding between sessions. I rigorously assess their answers, providing detailed feedback to ensure they are improving and developing the skills needed for success. To maintain academic integrity, I use anti-cheating tools to ensure that all work submitted reflects genuine effort and learning. My goal is to foster independent thinking and mastery of IB Psychology while building confidence and academic integrity in my students.
