Tutoring Experience

I began my tutoring journey in 2018, shortly after graduating from the University of Michigan. Over the past six years, I have worked with students across various educational levels, with a strong emphasis on AP Chemistry. My experience spans from one-on-one sessions with high school students to small group classes aimed at preparing students for standardized exams. My students have consistently improved their grades and test scores, often surpassing their own expectations. One of my most rewarding experiences was tutoring a student who initially struggled with AP Chemistry. Through personalized sessions that focused on her learning style, we were able to turn her performance around, and she went on to achieve a top score of 5 on the AP exam. I also have experience working with students who have learning difficulties, employing patience and creativity to ensure they grasp the material. My approach has always been student-centered, prioritizing their needs and adapting my teaching methods to best suit them. Whether working through challenging Chemistry problems or tackling advanced Calculus, I am committed to helping each student achieve their full potential.

I use a mix of visual aids, practical examples, and interactive problem-solving sessions to ensure that students not only understand the material but also feel confident applying it in exams and real-life situations. Regular assessments and feedback are integral to my process, as they help track progress and adjust our strategy to keep moving forward. My aim is to inspire a love for learning while ensuring academic success.
