Hello, my name is Dara. As an IB teacher, I have years of experience helping students in international schools achieve their target marks in IB Economics. My primary objective is to support students as they build a rigorous skill set that equips them to meet the demands of the IB curriculum. Teamwork and listening are two values I place importance on when teaching. I also began working with students on IB Business Management, and I thus have the tools to mentor students in both subjects: Economics and Business Management.

Hello! I'm Dara, and I'm deeply passionate about education. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Masters in Management, I've dedicated the past five years to teaching at international schools, focusing on IB Economics and Business Management. My role revolves around preparing students for the IB Economics and Business Management diploma examinations, ensuring they possess the knowledge and skills necessary for success in these subjects. Moreover, my proficiency in English, Spanish, and French enables me to effectively engage with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, creating an inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and valued.

From 2023 to the present, I've been serving as an IB Economics & Business Management Instructor at Le Régent International School in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. Here, my responsibilities include guiding international students through the challenging IB curriculum, equipping them with the tools they need to excel in the diploma examinations. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2023, I held the position of College Board Member & IB Economics Instructor at the United World College in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Alongside teaching, I focused on fostering relationships with political and financial stakeholders and overseeing student projects centred on sustainability, collaborating with global companies.

Before delving into the realm of education, I garnered experience in various roles. From 2019 to 2020, I served as a Business English Language Coach at Shenker in Milan, Italy, delivering tailored language courses to C-suite executives across diverse industries. Preceding this role, I worked as a Finance Assistant at Freeda Media in Milan, Italy, from 2018 to 2019. In this capacity, I engaged in cost analysis, presented findings to senior management, and managed supplier relationships to enhance financial efficiency.
