Tutoring Experience

I am a fourth year Pre-Med at Princeton University with a 3.9 GPA and 99 percentile standardized test scores. I attribute my academic success to the hundreds of hours experience I have teaching over the last 5 years of my life. In high school, I taught English literacy to children 6-16 at a campsite every summer, and I helped my peers with their AP exams, many of which I scored a 5/5 in myself, including AP chem, physics, and bio. In college, I continued to tutor my peers in their college science and math courses. I love teaching chemistry in particular, especially general chemistry and biochemistry.

My approach to the MCAT is three-fold. First, I tailor a schedule specific to the student’s goals, time, work-load, and academic strengths and opportunities for development. Second, I provide them with the proper tools to not only expand their knowledge of the content but to also do so efficiently. Third, I emphasize breaking down the exam-maker’s specific logic to create the proper gut-feeling for how they ask questions and the answers they look for.

Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Tuition Approach

For college-level sciences relating to pre-medicine, I believe that all such courses offer a clear and systematic approach to a high mark. As I have near perfect grades at a highly competitive school, I believe that I have mastered this strategy. I teach to my students how to structure their study plan and approach efficiently. I also know the ins-and-outs of these exams and the kinds of questions that are frequently asked, so I am efficient in discovering room for growth in my students.
