Personally Interviewed

Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in the past in assisting non-traditional students obtaining their High School Diploma as well as working with Martin County as a substitute teacher where I have taught several different classes and age groups.

Starting in July I began tutoring for the LSAT exam in addition to running my private practice. I have had several successes including one student where we increased his score and met his goal of securing the score required to stay in his law school/undergrad accelerated program. I evaluate each one of my students and develop an individualized learning plan based on desired score, amount of time before test, and starting knowledge.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching philosophy and style has always been one of flexibility. As a philosopher and lawyer, I have discovered that there is no true one size fits all method so I meet with my students and tailor my approach to fit their learning styles and goals.

Specifically, for the LSAT, my method is to have the student take a previously released LSAT. After I receive the results, I break the test down by question type and based on the results develop a tailored approach that will reinforce areas of strength and address areas of weakness. Depending on the length of time before the test, I recommend a test per week to both build up testing stamina as well as to track progress and adjust the study plan as needed.

Testimonials

“To say the least, Dan was an excellent tutor for my LSAT preparation. From start to finish, he was very accommodating to the small amount of time we had for me to obtain the score I needed to remain in the law program at Nova Southeastern University. Dan made sure to stay on top of my learning progress, as he tracked what areas within the LSAT realm that I needed more focus on to gain a higher score. Whenever I had issues or troubles with anything, he was always one phone call or text away, making him the most reliable tutor I've ever been in contact with. I'm happy to say that I scored well above my target in the short period that we've worked together. For all the reasons mentioned, I'd recommend Dan to anyone looking for a tutor in regards to LSAT tutoring or anything related.”
