Tutoring Experience

Even during my university studies, I developed a knack for tutoring, informally assisting peers and junior students in Biology, Chemistry, and Economics. Post-graduation, I formalized this into a tutoring role, working with IGCSE students in Muscat. Over the last year, I've helped over 20 students, making complex concepts more approachable and digestible. Despite being early in my tutoring career, I've been able to help most of my students improve their grades by at least one level.

Tutoring Approach

Being a recent graduate, I understand the challenges students face and can relate to their learning needs. My tutoring approach is interactive and student-centered. For Biology and Chemistry, I focus on breaking down intricate ideas into simpler concepts, using analogies and real-world examples. When teaching Economics, I draw upon current events to illustrate economic theories, which not only aids understanding but also piques students' interest in the subject. I believe in fostering an environment that encourages curiosity and questions, and I adapt my teaching style to each student's individual needs to maximize their potential.
