Tutoring Experience

Over the past three years, I have:

Gained 2 years of experience tutoring IB and A-Level students in Bern, Switzerland. Through this, I've assisted more than 30 students in achieving their desired grades in Maths.
Worked for 6 months as an Assistant Maths teacher at Bern High School, engaging with students of various capabilities and backgrounds.
Led a 10-week online Maths revision course, where I was responsible for designing and delivering material for both IB and A-Level syllabuses.
Volunteered at Bern Youth Club as a homework mentor, focusing on Maths and science subjects for disadvantaged students.

I believe in breaking down complex Mathsematical concepts into understandable segments, making them easily digestible for my students. By integrating real-world examples and problems, I make learning more relevant and engaging. I emphasize on active participation, encouraging students to voice their questions and curiosities. My sessions are interactive, utilizing a combination of traditional teaching methods and modern tools such as interactive apps. Building confidence is key; hence, I provide regular feedback, highlighting strengths and identifying areas of improvement, allowing students to track their progress and build on their successes.
