Tutoring Experience

Experienced English Language Arts teacher, National Board certified (twice), Teacher/Consultant for National Writing Project for 28 years, Consultant/Presenter for National Math and Science Initiative for 6 years; taught AP English Language for 18 years, AP Literature for 6 years, every other level of ELA for 28 years. Poetry, drama and creative writing as well as remedial level ELA work. Focus is on improving writing and reading skills at secondary and/or college level. Also available to help with personal writing, college research papers, anything involving literacy.
