Tutoring Experience

Over the past 5 years, I've had the privilege of tutoring over 100 students in Chemistry at both the IGCSE and A-Level stages. My tutoring journey began while I was still a university student and I've never looked back since. I've helped students comprehend complex chemical concepts, hone their problem-solving skills, and significantly improve their exam performance. I've worked with a variety of students, from those who initially struggled with the subject, to those seeking to turn an existing passion into top-tier results.


My method of simplifying complex concepts into understandable chunks and my use of practical, real-life examples to illustrate chemical reactions, have been met with positive feedback from both students and parents. My previous students have gone on to pursue studies in top universities worldwide, which brings me immense satisfaction and keeps my passion for teaching alive.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is highly individualized and begins with understanding the student's existing knowledge level, learning style, and areas they struggle with. For students preparing for exams, we go through past papers, not just to practice but to learn how to understand and approach questions effectively.


I break down complex chemical reactions into simple, manageable concepts. I use real-life examples and analogies to make the content relatable and easier to understand. I believe that learning is not about memorizing facts, but about truly understanding and applying knowledge.


Hence, I also teach problem-solving skills and focus on developing a robust conceptual understanding of chemistry. I take time to give constructive feedback, which includes identifying areas of strength and areas for improvement, to help my students continually progress in their understanding and application of chemistry.
