Anis
University of Haute Alsace - PhD Mathematics
Hi, I'm Anis, and I have a real passion for teaching math. I believe that teaching isn't one-size-fits-all. Every classroom is different because every student brings their own unique set of goals, interests, and challenges. That's why my teaching style adapts to fit the specific needs, the personal academic goals of my students, and even how many students I have in a class. I strive to make my classes not just educational, but engaging and enjoyable too, ensuring everyone can find something to love about math. By focusing on each student's needs, I aim to help everyone reach their full potential and maybe even discover a passion for math they didn't know they had.

Tutoring Experience
I have had the opportunity to teach a wide variety of mathematics courses at
different levels:
- Mathematics for GCSE students
- Mathematical IT Skills for year 1 Maths Degrees students at the University of
Liverpool
- Analysis 1 and Linear algebra at Esprit School of Engineering
- Numerical analysis for the third-year engineering students (computer science
speciality)
- Numerical analysis and applied mathematics for third years engineering
student (preparing materials, exercises, exams preparation and correction)
Tutoring Approach
I prefer using instructional methods of teaching, i.e. Problem-Based Learning.
My strategy consists of evoking a real scenario which makes it easy to understand the mathematical problems that the student is facing through real examples. This strategy is intended to encourage the students to think for themselves and learn to apply their knowledge.
This helps me know where the student has some difficulties or lacks knowledge about the subject and then tries to help him overcome the weakness.
