I completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2015. Following this, I spent several years working in the industry as a Software Engineer and Data Scientist. Subsequently, I joined the University of Manchester as an Assistant Professor. I have a profound passion for teaching, finding it to be both immensely rewarding and enjoyable.

Tutoring Experience

In my employment at the University of Manchester, my teaching responsibilities included preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, marking and feedback in various modules, as well as supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students.

I have worked with students as a Resident Tutor at the University of Nottingham halls of residence, and as the postgraduate officer at the university of Nottingham students union. I have a strong experience as a software engineer as well as a data scientist.

I have taught students 1 to 1 and supervised students who ended up getting accepted in high profile Universities such as Oxford University in the UK.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is based on engaging with the students and making sure that they gained the required knowledge and the practical skills.

I used scenarios, examples and problem-solving to stimulate discussions and critical thinking in order to ensure that the students have fully understood the material.
