Tutoring Experience

Over the past 12 years, I have been an online tutor, catering to IB and A-Level Maths and Physics students. Based in Doha, I have had the pleasure of guiding hundreds of students, helping them overcome academic challenges and excel in their studies. My methodical record-keeping of each student's strengths, weaknesses, and progress allows me to provide tailored lessons that effectively address their learning needs. It brings me immense joy to see my students evolve and achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach centres on building a strong rapport with each student. Initially, I aim to understand the student's current academic standing and learning style, using this information to design personalised lessons. My teaching style is interactive, with a balance between conceptual explanation and practical problem-solving.

I encourage students to voice their thoughts during problem-solving sessions, as it enables me to pinpoint areas of difficulty and address them promptly. I believe learning extends beyond our sessions, and I provide students with supplementary problems to work on between sessions, which we review in the next lesson.
