Tutoring Experience

For the past seven years, I've been privileged to tutor over a hundred students, devoting over 3000 hours to teaching IB Mathematics. I've worked with students from various backgrounds, learning styles, and academic abilities, in both one-to-one and group settings.

My tutoring journey has taken me across schools in UAE, and online sessions with students globally. I've been gratified to see my students improve from struggling to grasp basic concepts to achieving top grades in their exams. Apart from covering the syllabus, I've guided students in their Internal Assessments, and Extended Essays, ensuring they fully comprehend the topic and present their findings effectively.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring approach is rooted in patience and understanding. I believe in breaking down complex mathematical concepts into simpler, more manageable parts. This allows students to grasp the fundamentals, before moving on to more challenging problems. I actively engage students by asking questions and encouraging them to think critically about the problem at hand.

I use a variety of resources, including textbooks, online tools, and past examination papers, to reinforce learning. Regular assessment is a key part of my approach; through this, I monitor the student's understanding and tailor my teaching methods to suit their unique learning style.

Feedback is shared with the student in a constructive manner, highlighting their strengths and working on their areas of improvement. My aim is to foster an environment where students are not afraid to ask questions or make mistakes, but rather view them as learning opportunities.
