Tutoring Experience

I have four years of tutoring experience, including over 65 hours specifically teaching French to students at various levels, from beginners to A-level. I have in-depth knowledge of the WJEC and AQA exam boards, equipping students with the skills and strategies needed to excel in GCSE French exams. My work as a Cambridge student ambassador also informs my teaching, emphasising critical thinking and language analysis.

My approach to GCSE French tuition is highly individualised, focusing on each student’s goals and addressing specific challenges. Lessons begin with assessing the student’s current level and setting clear objectives. I create structured teaching plans that incorporate vocabulary building, grammar practice, and the four foundational language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Interactive and student-driven lessons focus on exam-relevant topics, with resources tailored to the syllabus. By combining encouragement with constructive feedback, I help students strengthen weak areas and develop a comprehensive understanding of the French language, ensuring they feel prepared and confident for their exams.
