Tutoring Experience

In the past six years, I've logged more than 1000 hours as a tutor, specializing in IB English. I've guided students in developing their language skills, enriched their understanding of literature, and helped them achieve high grades. I've also been actively involved in supporting students with their Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE).

My former students have reported significant improvements in their abilities to analyze texts, construct compelling arguments, and write clear, persuasive essays. I'm proud of the strong relationships I've built with my students, and their families, as I believe a supportive learning environment is integral to academic success.

I have taught English as a Foreign Language in Spain and France and hold a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (CELTA).

Tutoring Approach

With over five years of experience in teaching the IB English curriculum, I have clocked in more than 1,000 hours of tutoring. During this time, I've guided students in understanding complex texts, honed their essay-writing skills, and supported them through their coursework.

In addition to my work in Singapore, I've taught English in rural Thailand for six months as part of a volunteer project. This unique experience enhanced my ability to adapt my teaching style to cater to diverse learning needs.
