University College London - PhD Medical Physics
I completed my studies at the University of Oxford in 2022, achieving a first-class Master's degree in Physics, and have subsequently commenced a PhD in Medical Physics at UCL. I take great pleasure in tutoring students who possess a fervent passion for their subject and are eager to extend their knowledge beyond the confines of their school curriculum.

Tutoring Approach
PAT/Admissions
As the tutor, I will emphasize the importance of being able to deduce answers without need for long calculation.
Students will be sent a mock paper prior to sessions. I like to encourage the student to lead sessions by presenting their solutions and asking questions on the questions they found difficult.
It is important that the student can present their work coherently with a clear logical structure. If a student struggles with this, I like to give them an example of how I would have structured a solution, but I still encourage the student to lead the session and find the solution for themselves.
After a session, I like sending my students a copy of my written solutions so they can review what we have discussed. I also encourage the student to attempt the questions they struggled with again to
ensure they understand the methods used and could use similar methods in future. I aim to help flag areas of weakness and usually finish the session with a discussion on what we should cover in following sessions to address these.
