Cambridge University - BA Economics
I am currently an undergraduate student of Economics at the University of Cambridge in my second year. I also achieved a commendable second place out of 157 candidates in my Cambridge mathematics examination. With over a year's experience in tutoring mathematics, I am eager to assist others in achieving success in their GCSE and A-Level Maths examinations.

Personally Interviewed
Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process, having been interviewed to assess their teaching skills and subject knowledge. They have extensive tutoring experience with a track record of success, helping students achieve their academic goals.
Tutoring Experience
I have provided tutoring in both Maths and English, catering to students at KS3 to GCSE level with varying abilities.
A significant portion of my tutoring experience involved teaching Maths, and I have gained proficiency in conducting online sessions.
Through interactive classes, I effectively introduced new content to students, while also conducting focused sessions to reinforce weak areas.
Tutoring Approach
Tutoring has led me to develop a highly flexible approach to cater to every individual, with my communication skills being recognised through a local branch award.
My typical tutoring approach involves first identifying strengths and weaknesses in content previously learnt through both students own understanding of their knowledge alongside a quick test on areas previously studied.
From this I focus on the areas of weakness, developing students skills in these areas by supporting them tackling the types of maths problems related to this area of understanding until their confidence with the techniques required is such that they are able to solve problems in the target area independently and consistently.
Finally, students will be provided with a range of problems in the target area to independently consolidate their knowledge and practice applying the techniques covered to a wide range of problems.
